Maximum Happiness In Minimum Time

Happiness and inner fulfillment are independent of the external conditions in life. The myth of " I’ll be happy when I get the house in Hollywood Hills, the beamer, the job, the model wife….is very much propagated in our society.

We should realize that we had it backwards. Inner fulfillment should come first to be truly and unconditionally happy.

And how do we go about this? There’s this simple step that can be done on a daily basis in minimum time. Here it is. If you want to be wildly successful in the future, start pretending and acting like one today. Dress better, have bounce on your steps, wear that 1000 kilowatt smile, have a happy disposition and if the weather is bad, bring your own sunshine. Act as if you already own a Fortune 500 company. Whatever you want to be, be that now. Practice being happy now. Pretend until pretense becomes real.

Our brain likes pattern and familiarity. If we always think we are lacking and unhappy, the brain filters the incoming data to support the idea of lack and shortage. On the other hand if we think of patterns of plenty, our brain will filter incoming data to support the idea of plenty or abundance.

We are the ones creating our perception of the reality of our situation in every single moment. If we practice struggle and pessimism we become very good at it. We are going to be unconsciously competent negative thinkers. Pessimism and struggle would soon become automatic, it becomes a habit.

We don’t have to wait until everything is going great before we can practice and feel happiness. We might wait a pretty long time. It’s not because things will never be great but because we have become a master at being unhappy.

On the contrary, we practice whatever we want to be in the future, now. Practice feeling, imagining and sensing how you will feel and doing what you will do when you get where you want to be, today! Now! This moment! By the time you get there you are familiar and comfortable with happiness and success. It’s no longer a struggle.
Instead of stress and struggle, relish the journey of life and achieve the things you truly want with peace and joy.
